Hello, my name is Dawn and I live in Hampshire, England with my husband and our daughter. I love crafts and dabble in lots of different things, mostly using natural fibres. I have been spinning for over 4 years now mostly on a spinning wheel, and although I have got drop spindles I have very little experience with them. My other woolly interests include felting, both wet felting and dry needle felting; knitting and some basic weaving. I am a member of my local Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers and try to attend the monthly meetings and other events they are involved with. I am also the editor of the Guild newsletter which is produced quarterly. I hope to do more dyeing in the future with natural dyes preferably, and using plants I grow myself.
